Terms & Conditions

Bookings

General Bookings
Bookings are essential for all treatments.
Bookings can be made via email or by calling us on 0404 742 728.
Your appointment can be available 3 hours after you contacted us.
When booking an appointment with Body Bound you will be asked to provide a phone number, an address and the type of treatment you require.
Please make sure that you are on time for your appointment as in some cases we will have to cut down your treatment to be able to be on time for our next clients.

Pamper Parties Bookings
Bookings for pamper parties can be made via email or by calling us.
We will require an approximate number of people and the date of the party when you contact us to book a date.
We ask the host to be present at least 15 minutes before the starting time and ask all guests to be on time. We will try our best to accommodate in case of  lateness but if we can’t, the treatments will have to be shortened.

Payments

Payments for General Bookings.
Payments can be made by bank transfer two days prior the treatment day, by cheque (cheques have to be cleared before the day of treatment), by credit or debit card or by cash on the day.

Payments for Pamper Parties.

We ask you to organise a deposit of $50 to secure your date. The remaining amount can be paid by bank transfer prior the party or by cash , credit or debit card on the day.
We usually prefer the full amount being paid before the party as it avoids exchange of money after a day of pampering.

Payments for Gift Vouchers.
When ordering a gift voucher, the full amount must be paid by bank transfer, credit or debit card before the voucher is sent to the designated address or picked up. The gift vouchers are non refundable and we can’t extend their validity. Gift vouchers can be used at the Body Bound Beauty Room or for the mobile service. No treatment will be undertaken if you don’t have your voucher at the time of the appointment as they are the proof of purchase.

Parking and Travel Expenses for the mobile service

All our therapists try their best to find off street parking. But in cases there is no free parking, you will be required to cover all parking expenses. More often than not, we carry heavy gear to provide the best treatments. It is a condition that our clients try to accommodate their therapists with parking. Unfortunately, if there is no parking in the area close to the location, no treatment will be undertaken.
In case you are situated outside our travel area you may be asked to cover some or all of the travel expenses. In every case we would discuss that matter together before you book an appointment.

Cancellation policy

We require 24h notice for all cancellations and more than 4 hours if you need to reschedule your appointment to allow us to allocate that time to someone else.
Treatments fully paid are refunded in full if the treatment is cancelled in the minimum of 24 hours. Treatments cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded with a cancellation fee deducted to the full price of the treatment (usually 50%).
All gift vouchers are valid 6 months from date of purchase and are not refundable. Treatments can be changed but vouchers are not exchangeable against money.
All deposits are non refundable.

Code of ethics

Body Bound’s therapists are all fully qualified and fully trained professionals. We are committed to maintain high standards in our services and a relationship based on mutual respect is part of our philosophy. In no circumstances an inappropriate behaviour will be tolerated. We reserve the right to end the treatment immediately and to charge the full price of the treatment if the above happened.
Body Bound does not offer any sexual services of any sort, so please don’t ask.

All services provided by Body Bound therapists are not substitute for medical care and any information provided is for educational purposes only. All information provided to us on our consultation forms is regarded as private and confidential. If there are any conditions that we deem to contraindicate any of our treatments, then no treatment will be undertaken and we reserve the right to refuse any or all treatment requests. For further information or clarification please discuss with our therapists.
We strictly adhere to the NSW Health Departments Clause 10, public health (skin penetration) Regulation 2000 & OH&S Act 2000 for the safety of our therapists and our clientele. If there is any condition that we deem to contraindicate these regulation and legislation, no treatment will be undertaken.

Spa environment and hazards

A spa environment can be a place of discovery and play for little ones and pets. As much as we love them, we ask parents and pet lovers to keep them away from the working area. Hot wax pots, sharp objects, products… can be harmful for small children. Body Bound’s therapists will NOT take responsibility if an accident occurs because they couldn’t operate in a safe environment. We don’t mind having small children around as long as they stay at a safe distance from the working area. It is at the parents discretion to have their children and pets around when treatments are provided by the therapist.
